Abstract

High number of copyright violence especially in Compact Disk in the last decade causes of high economy level. A lot of people want to sell copyright violence. So, government stated law about copyright. This problem viewed by sociology jurisdiction method, data collecting technique is direct interview with Mr. Supriyanto as Unit III Reskrim Leader Batu. The research result shows that, there is still a problem to stand government regulation in copyright violence of VCD. To socialize the regulation, government spread brochure around city, but its conduct without direct simulation. And also, conduct repressive act with collecting evident to catch the criminal. The writer hope to this research could help Polres Batu to solve the problem and also as science contribution, especially in civil cases law.
