This research is quantitative research that aims to examine the relationship between time management effectiveness working with nursing staff. Effectiveness level workers will vary and is influenced by various factors, which among other applicable organizational culture, workplace environment and motivation. Time management is a person's ability or skill in managing time properly from the various demands of existing activities. Ability to perform time management can affect the level of performance and from that time management is one aspect of effectiveness, where effectiveness of the work itself can be interpreted as one's level of success in completing a task or job. The hypothesis is no relationship between time management with the effectiveness of the nursing staff. The subjects in this study were inpatient nursing staff District General Hospital Ulin Banjarmasin. The research subject was taken through a proportional sampling techniques and methods of data collection using a scale, namely (1) time management scale, (2) work effectiveness scale. Analyzing data using product moment correlation technique and the computer program SPSS (Statistics Programme For Social Science) version 11.0. From the results of this study concluded that there is a positive and highly significant correlation between the effectiveness of time management by nursing staff, with a correlation coefficient (r) = 0548 and opportunities for error (P) = 0.000. This means that the better time management is done the higher the effectiveness of the work produced. The contribution to the effectiveness of management time by 30%, 70% means that there are other factors that have a relationship with the effectiveness of the nursing staff that are not measured in this study.
