Balance of power is balanced in terms of power / authority as well as other processes, which inits application does not allow the existence of a dominant power in one party or alliance. In the family, importance of balance of power balance between husband and wife in any decision making process. However, in practice, found a phenomenon that shows that men are more powerful in the process of decision making. Something similar happened also in micromanaged by husband and wife. Where even the beginning of the business establishment founded by his wife, but in the end a large part controlled by the husband to manage them. Based on the description above, the purpose of this research is to know the balance of power in decision making process (research on couples Geplak entrepreneurs in Bantul regency, Yogyakarta) and the factors influencing it. This research is a qualitative description research. Subjects making techniques using purposive sampling. The subjects were numbered as many as 5 pairs of husband and wife entrepreneurs Geplak. Method of data collection was done by interview. While the credibility of the data was done by triangulation and triangulation of data sources researchers (supervisor as evaluator). Based on the results of a study of five pairs of husbands and wives know that as many as three pairs of husbandwife has not shown a balance of authority in terms of business management related decision making Geplak. While two of them have been balanced. Imbalance lies in the knowledge and experience about the ins and outs of the business owned Geplak each individual. In addition, when there was a difference of opinion, the propensity to use power that is manifest power. In an attempt affect either party, each individual in the five pairs of husband and wife, using its knowledge about the ins and outs of business management Geplak or so called expert power. Meanwhile, to influence the couple to be agreed, the five couples are using direct cooperative strategies. Although there are a couple imbalance manyatakan that the existing division of authority has been unfair and not a problem for them.
