Abstract

The research aimed to find out the influence of growth management substance to the adenium (Adenium SP) plant. The research was done at Kuningan village, Kanigoro sub-district Blitar residence with 320 m height above the sea, started from January to May 2008. Tools used in the research were polybag, injection, sprayer, plastic, book, and stationary. While substances used were adenium seed, malang sand, burned ‘sekam’, ZPT, aquades, insecticide, and fungicide The research was done in simple random group design with one factor. Treatment was repeated 3 times + control. Each pot contained with sand media + burned ‘sekam’ + trash fertilizer (2:1:1). Plant was placed under the seedling net and UV plastic. Adenium watering by using 3 kind of ZPT according to treatment. They were atonic, ethrel, and giberelin. With concentrate 1 cc/litter Aquades. Interval of plant watering in 60 HST age was done once in a week in 8.00 morning and repeated in the next one hour. The observation was done after the plant was 60 days age after plantation (HST) with observation interval 7 days. Observation parameters were height, trunk diameter, amount of leaves, and the width of leaf. According to the research, there was interaction of growth management substance (ZPT) atonic and ethrel to the height of plant and leaf width. In observation, there found that ZPT in 71 HSP – 85 HSP has real influence. The substance caused adenium plant smaller was ethrel.
