Abstract

The research was done to find out price determining policy at PT. Indonesia Matsuya Pasuruan. Variables researched in this research were: product selling price as independent variable (X) and selling level as dependent variable (Y). The research aimed to find out the correct price determining policy for PT. Matsuya Pasuruan. Analytical tool used to find out the correct price determining policy for PT. Indonesia Matsuya Pasuruan was by using simple linear regression and also to find out the changing proportion of selling level using R2 test. From the simple linear analysis, there showed that wardrobe product selling price with the selling level had positive influence. The condition was in opposite of chair and table product selling which had negative relation to selling level. So that there could be found that the correct policy for PT. Indonesia Matsuya Pasuruan was quantity discount price application policy. According to the research, the writer implied that it would be better for PT. Indonesia Matsuya used quantity discount price determining policy, where the company gave discount for buyer who bought 100 units or more in order to increase selling.
