Keywords: LIQUIDITY, PROFITABILITY and PT Bank BTN This research is a case study on PT. Malang Branch State Savings Bank with the aim to determine the condition of liquidity and profitability in PT. State Savings Bank Branch in Malang. Data used in this peneitian include secondary data is the annual financial report of PT Bank BTN (Persero), PT in 2004, 2005, and 2006 were analyzed by using Time Series Analysis of benchmark method of analysis was done by comparing financial statements from 2004 , 2005, and 2006. The results showed that the liquidity the Bank in general showed an increase from 2004 to 2006. This is indicated by aspects of the Cash Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio Ratio increased and Banking, It shows the bank has gained the trust of outsiders who are considered capable of completing its current liabilities. In terms of profitability in general has decreased as indicated by the Net Profit Margin Return on Equity and Return on investment in 2004 and 2005 has meant in the year penurunanyang bank's ability to generate net income through the use of capital is less good. While in the year 2005 to 2006 Return on Equity and Return on investment has increased. which means in the bank's ability to generate net income through the use of capital good enough. From the above conclusion, the writer implies that the view that profitability in the year 2004 to 2005 has decreased it should PT. Malang State Savings Bank Branch in improving the liquidity and profitability, always trying to minimize the risk of uncollectible loans and to reduce credit risk by always providing oversight of the debtor on a regular basis.
