Home industries rapidly develop. During this time, sago processing always uses traditional method that is by processing sago stem powder into the river that is stir up, peel and settle the sago liquid to the nearest river. Then the settled of sago will be bring into the village and dry under the sunlight. This method will take many times and energy. Based on the consideration above, the writer raised the title Design of Press Peeling Machine Sago Palm Essence with Stirring Spoon System. This Press peeling machine sago palm essence using stirring spoon system moved by using electricity and connected to rice cracker and belt. Work principle of this machine is sago stem that processed into powder and put into a tank where there is a filter on the tank layer mix with water with consideration 1:2, then stirred with 200 rpm speed. After the sago powder soluble in the water, sago essence freighted out through a tap in the layer of tank and distributed to a receptacle to be settled and the waste freighted out manually using hand. Then sago essence settle dried under sunlight to produce dry sago powder. There is a capacity that can be produced in one pressure is 5, 25 kg settle sago essence that is 3 kg sago powder. The press peeling machine sago palm essence designed by the writer is for total capacity produce sago settle 63 kg/hour or produce sago powder 36/hour.
