There is some technician in enlarging workshop and refines inner surface intake manifold at gasoline combustion engine four steps that torsion and power yielded increases. But, till now unknown how big difference yielded with this modification to gasoline combustion engine performance four step. Therefore is done research concerning this at motorcycle in energy conversion laboratory University Muhammadiyah of Malang. Examination is done with research method of sham experimental with rotation starts 1500 rpm until 2500 rpm. Measurement is done every interval 500 rpm. Examination is repeated thrice. From research done, gotten that by enlarging and refines inner surface intake manifold to make rising maximum torsion 31,6 %, rising maximum actual horsepower 27,9 %, while consuming fuel downwards 18,8 %, and consumption of effective specific fuel also downwards 36,9 %.
