Abstract

This study aims at finding out the concentration of hard protein (HP), hard fat (HF) and the extra material without nitrogen of Pannisetum Purpureum so that we can know in which level of height this plant can alive. This study will be very useful to guide the farmer in fulfilling the supply of Pannisetum Purpureum in such qualified manner as the information for the further study. The material used is the samples gotten from the plant aged 40-60 days and it is before the flower comes and they are gotten from three different places with different height. Those three heights are the low land, medium land, and the high land. The representative is taken from two villages in which each village we take 4 samples of the plant in different location. The experiment method in this study in experimental and survey by using nested classification of three different levels. If we find the significant difference in those three treatments then we will do the smallest real difference test. The result of this study shows that the level of this height does not influence significantly (P>.05) toward the hard protein of this vegetation of each villages. The levels of height of those villages does not really influence significantly on the concentration of hard fat. But the level of height of a place does affect significantly on the concentration of the extra material (P>0.01), meanwhile the each villages does not significantly affect on the vegetation itself (P>0.05). In short, this study concludes that this vegetation can be planted in all levels of heights since there is no difference in nutrition significantly. But the topography of its location needs to consider.
