Abstract

Stroke is blood circulation disturbance in brain.Blood pressure is an important factor in the process of stroke. 70,8% stroke is caused by hypertension. Objective : to know the description on profile of blood pressure on patients with stroke at RSU Dr Saiful Anwar General Hospital Of Malang during January – December 2006. Sample : all patients in the neurology department of Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital Of Malang in 2006 (January 1 – December 31, 2006). Result The most occurance rate is : infark stroke + hypertension of 92 patients (82,14%), bleeding stroke + hypertension of 108 patients (93,1%), and patients with stroke and hypertension history of 87,71 %.The most occurane rate on each blood pressure division : infark stroke + hypertension (male) = 60 patients (53,57%), bleeding stroke + hypertension (male) = 64 patients (55,17%), the most occurane rate on each blood pressure division : in fark stroke + hypertension (61­100 years) = 41 patients (36,60%). Conclusion : The most occurance rate is : infark stroke + hypertension of 92 patients (82,14%), bleeding stroke + hypertension of 108 patients (93,1%), and patients with stroke and hypertension history of 87,71 %.The most occurane rate on each blood pressure division : infark stroke + hypertension (male) = 60 patients (53,57%), bleeding stroke + hypertension (male) = 64 patients (55,17%), the most occurane rate on each blood pressure division : in fark stroke + hypertension (61­100 years) = 41 patients (36,60%).
