Abstract

To teach solving problems to students, need proper method. Because, this method is one of alternative to reach the point is student will have self confident to share their comments, idea, and question directly and with open mind. This called as assertively. Assertively is personal ability to sharing comments, suggestion, question and their idea directly, honestly and with open mind to other (Hendriani, 2003 : 36). The research’s aim is to describe assertively ability of student to know assertively effect of students totalities learning mathematics. To know student assertively and student totally learning in mathematics, in this research using descriptive quantitative. Assertively know with questionnaire that given to 72 students (36 men and 36 women) in Xth grade class in SMA Shalahuddin Malang mean while, the student totally learning know by their mark that given via daily test and homework. The data and questionnaire will analysis with qualitative technique. Base on data analysis know that student assertively have high score, its show from 72 respondent having 25,13 as average score, and students totally learning score is 76,13, this proven bys 72 student as sample. This score is reaching student score from department of education. The relation between assertively and student totally learning is the more higher of assertively wile support student totally learning.
