Research on "Personality Structure Figure Women's Work in Novel Ayu Utami float" against a background, that Ayu Utami as an energetic author has its own aesthetic in creating a literary work. Literary works of Ayu Utami's always express the character figure so interesting to be studied in terms of personality psychology by using the theory of Sigmund Freud. Freud's psychology is a theory that emphasizes the personality structure that should be entitled three aspects, namely the id, ego, and superego. Issues raised in this study are as follows: 1) How Being id female characters in the novel works of Ayu Utami's float, 2) How is a form of ego's female characters in the novel works of Ayu Utami's float, 3) How is a form of superego female characters in the novel works of Ayu Utami float. The theory used in this research is the theory of personality structure, which focuses on contextual studies. Namely psychiatric studies that examine the figures contained in the literature. The method used, which is using descriptive method kualitataif. And data collection in this study using textual techniques, because the object of research is a literary documentation, which is novel. Sources of data in this study are novel float Ayu Utami's work, published by Scholastic in 2001 Popular Library with number p. 259. The result of consideration of the matter can be concluded is the personality structure, which consists of, id, ego, and superego. Which describes the character of all female characters, namely Gagarina Laila (Laila), Moningka Yasmin (Yasmin), Cokorda Gita Magaresa (Cok), and Sakuntala (Tala), of the four figures showed that anxious women in social life, precisely sexual anxiety inherent in female characters who are friends since childhood, then in the novel there is no one tokohpun float showing a woman who was happy, instead of looking the other way around.
