ï¿½LANGGENGï¿½ Plywood Company is one of the industry with yielded product is plywood for furniture likes cupboard, chair and others. To fulfill requirement of plywood, hence company improve result of its production so that order of consumer can be sent on time. But practically natural company some problem of related to quality of result of production where defect percentage in a few last month experience of trend which mounting. From result of conducted perception, found handicap happened many at making step and draining of wood sheet/venir. The defects for example handicap break, delaminasi, scraggly thick and size measure less. To overcome the problem will to plan repair of plywood quality, namely at making of wood sheet/venir by using approach concept of DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control). At phase of Define, determining and target of object accurate, namely at process of raw material become wood sheet/venir. At phase of Measure, defects type which become Critical to Quality (CTQ) is handicap break and delaminasi with value of DPMO equal to 31.4296 and level sigma equal to 3,4. At phase of Analyze, company performance goals have to boost up level sigma bigger than 3,4 and degrade value of DPMO at process of to a come period, identifying cause factors incidence of defects by using causality diagram and also COPQ effect that happened equal to Rp. 476.100,-. At phase of Improve, we chosening alternatives to recommend pursuant to FMEA tables, where recommendation for the election of this alternatives pursuant to at Risk Priority Number (RPN) where to handicap break alternative the proposed is election of raw material more accurate to avoid to the number of defect with value of RPN 448 and the alternative of delaminasi is to place special operator for the control of wood sheet/venir put to the sun venir, give guidance about technique and way of real correct drier and also conduct treatment routinely and commutation of component which have timeworn at machine of rotary with value of RPN 504. Applying of alternatives told by have succeded in the event of degradation at COPQ and of DPMO value and also make-up value of level sigma. At phase of Control, making documentation, map conduct procees concerning activity of process step.
