Abstract

This research was provided a basis for on the phenomenon of the price of changing gold every time resulting from not the stability of the economy of the world. So as to be found in one shop was gotten by various price sorts of gold. Information about the price of newest gold really was needed by the gold traders to determine the selling price bought gold. So as the activity looked for price information of newest gold to something that was obligatory was done by the gold traders. In this research, the researcher was interested to study about the Kepanjen communications network of the trader of Market gold about price information of newest gold. Then was found by the problem of the research that is how the process of the formation of the Kepanjen communications network of the trader of Market gold about price information of newest gold; how the pattern of the Kepanjen communications network of the trader of Market gold about price information of newest gold, and described whoever played a role what in Kepanjen network communication of the trader of Market gold about price information of newest gold. To be able to answer the formulation of the problem that was raised, and then was used the analysis of the communications network as the research method. The data was gathered through observation, the questionnaire, and interview to the informant that was taken technically purposive. Afterwards the data that was received was presented with sociometry and sosiogram. The communications network according to Moekijat in his book the Theory of Communication, was a situation was compiled where people sent information in a certain pattern. According to Bambang Setiawan, essence of a communications network was relations that was homophile, that is the human trend to carry out relations with people who had the attribute that was the same as himself. But this was not significant that the communications network will only happen to people who had just the same attributed. Very much a communications network was formed then in each kind of communication relations the movement or information from someone to the other person will happen. If communication relations happened so as the transfer and acceptance of proceeding information, then this information will begin to be influential to people who were involved in this communication. Results of the research in the Kepanjen communications network of the trader of Market gold in looking for price information of newest gold showed that: (1) the Kepanjen Communications Network of the trader of Market gold about price information of newest gold, was formed because the existence of the phenomenon asked the gold trader that it was considered more knew about price information of newest gold. Fenoma this happened resulting from the price of unstable gold. So as to have an impact on the change in the process of the trade transaction in gold. Where asking about the price of newest gold was the beginning in each process stage of the trade in gold. (2) The form of the pattern of his network, to the clique of the majority had the shape of the pattern of cataracts or the star and for the other clique had the shape of the wheel, “V” and “Y”. (3) And for roles of the network member, showed that the respondent no. 11 that is Mr H. Arifin played a role as opinion leader, for the Gate Keepers role was the respondent no. 28 of Mr Tanto the owner of the Main Jaya shop. Whereas for the Cosmo polities role was the respondent no. 16 that is the Matahari Shop. In the picture of sociometry also could be seen that the respondent no. 12, 27, and 29 played a role as bridge or bridge. And that was last, to the picture could be seen that the respondent no. 2, 9, 17, 20, 22, and 25 play a role or had the position as isolate or pemencil. The six respondents who played a role as Isolate that is Mr H. Sokheh from the Bulan Purnama Shop, Mr Hatta from the Mirah Shop, Ms CH. ROMLAH from the Candy Shop, Mr Sumardi Maruki from the Pojok Shop, Mr Kanafi from the Hafidah Shop and Sir Alex from the Utama Shop. On these results, could be recommended to the government or interested people in an effort to the trade in gold to more made use of the role opinion leader in mensosialisasikan a new policy that was linked with price information of newest gold. As well as theoretically so that more literature reconciliation that analyzed about the informal communications network.
