Abstract

Wastewater treatment of coal power plant is researched because it can damage the water ecosystem. The mayors of problems are how to reduce amount water’s temperature. To reduce it, power plant is used cooling tower, cooling ponds and spray cooling. Although its have weak points. These are cost of installation, efficiency and corrosion rate around the power plant. One of researching is aerator system as alternative system. The installation of aerator system is simply where air is injected in water on channel by nozzle or diffuser due to different temperature between air and water so it happen heat transfer. The analysis is resulted design aerator system to be installed on canal with influent heat flow rate 640209, 79 kW with diffusere size long 1m and diameter 10cm. One diffuser can reduce heat of water 457,186 kW so it’s needed 1404 diffuser to be installed in 18 modules.
