Abstract
Children as actors in social media have an effect on their popularity which is increasing day by day due to public interest. It is not uncommon to find children who become public figures who are just born until they are teenagers who have entered the world of entertainment, from becoming advertising models, children's magazine models, soap operas, films, and so on. Changes in people's interest in the world of entertainment have led children to immediately become actors in it. The role of children in the world of entertainment cannot be separated from the interference of parents who provide access and permission to children. The increased space for children to move in direct contact with the world of work affects their attitudes, physically and mentally. Based on the description, the authors are interested in discussing how to regulate child labor according to Article 69 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Labor and the Concept of the Crime of Child Artist Exploitation in Article 66 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 Child protection? using the juridical normative approach (normative legal research), legal material collection techniques using literature searches and legal material analysis techniques using content analysis methods (content analysis) analysis of content and conformity analysis. Which in essence is that in principle it is prohibited for anyone, including entrepreneurs, to employ children, unless they meet the requirements in Article 69 paragraph 1 of the Manpower Law.
