Abstract

This research is a kind of descriptive research at Hosana Plastic Company Malang, entitled “ Operational Auditing to the Function Produce as Efforts to Minimize the Production Error at Hosana Plastic Company Malang ”. The purposes of this research are: 1) Knowing operational auditing to the function produce as efforts to minimize the production error at Hosana Plastic Company Malang. 2) Knowing that the operational production have been done according to the specified plan, so that the operational production run effectively and efficient. The necessary data in this research are shown as the primary and secondary data. The technical data analysis in this research use the operational auditing such as: 1) Antecedence phase, 2) Research field, 3) Auditing program, 4) Auditing application, 5) Follow up or reporting. The calculation analyses of the data in this research are P – Chart Control analysis and Pareto Diagram analysis. The data which used are the data produce and production error of 2006-2007. Hosana Plastic Company Malang is the industrial plastic company which producing the plastic sack. From the research known that the realization of production level and the production error increase at 2006-2007. In the calculation of P – Chart Control analysis known that the average of proportion error at 2006-2007 equal to 9,1 % and 9,2%. The product error can be tolerated because it still under the standard error 10% which specified by the company. In the Pareto Diagram analysis known that the percentage of product error type which often happen to the company are: 1) Inappropriate thick size, 2) Inappropriate wide size, 3) Bad quality of plastic, 4) Cutting scraggly. From the result of research known that the production error happens because of several production factors such as elements material, machine, and the employees. The biggest frequency of production error is the machine factor. From the research and several findings, the writer able to give input and recommendation such: 1) the company should be able to add the expert machine, so that the frequency of checking machine more controllable, 2) the company is expected to add the employee in part of quality product operation to correct the production process from the beginning up to the end in order to minimize the production error, 3) the company must be attend on the production factors such: machine, elements material, employee, environment and method, so that the target of the company can be realized
