NAPZA abuse (Narcotic, Alcohol, Psychotropic, and Additive Substance) around the world is generally, in Indonesia especially, including East Java for a day by day to be large and widespread. It will be making us very pity and chaos, even more for nation generation. The phenomenon of narcotic abuse is like the “ice mountain” phenomenon. The government stated that official number of narcotic abuse 0,065% from 200 populations. Management of narcotic abuse is not simple. Therefore this condition is often chronic relapsing disease episode. This condition brings consequence that management of narcotic abuse needing long time and needing collaboration from many sides. Objective of this research is to identify and to describe motivation of student of Tsanawiyah “X” at Malang Town to do NAPZA. While the use of this research is expected as reference including to add insight related with social problem, especially about narcotic abuse on early teenager. It is also able to be entry point for school-based religious in application learning system at school, especially student at Junior High School Level. The method research used is qualitative research by using case study approach, that is concentrate on the intensive and detail case. The informant of research is student of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, that is 2 student using NAPZA. The research sample is purposive sampling based on certain character. Analysis unit is the unit investigated on individual, group, thing or setting of social event such as individual or group activities as a research subject. Based on result research conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah “X” at Malang was obtained result such as: (1) Family factor, based on family factor showed that because busy of their parents working from morning until late in the afternoon, finally they don’t have opportunity to give attention to their children, and minimum of their parent knowledge, so the children feel to do everything without knowing their parents, (2) Environment, environment factor is very influencing informant to illegal doing, by environment is not making happy for them. (3) School, environment school factor is very great to influence them, because strength of their solidarity between their friends rising strong motivation for them to do everything of done by their group. (4) Their-self, this factor is really the strongest factor for them. Internal factor is factor rising from them to reach positive value of that doing. External factor is the factor rising, because effect from the teenager, it is meant that in reaching the values is encouraged by external factors.
