Abstract

The implementation of public services in Blitar Regency especially in the Department of Population and Civil Registration in the service of making e-KTP has obstacles. Lack of attention to Standard Operating Procedures is one that makes services less than optimal and also there are still many people who do not understand because of lack of socialization. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques were obtained through Observation, Interview and Documentation. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Blitar Regency, Administrative Staff of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Blitar Regency. The results of this study answer that the management of public services in Dispendukcapil Blitar Regency is still less than optimal in making e-KTP because it does not pay attention to standard operational procedures, which results in a long queue and also starts the queue from midnight or early morning. Lack of socialization activities is the beginning of the occurrence of these less than optimal services. Socialization activities are activities that are needed by the community to avoid misunderstanding between the two parties.
