Often divorce is the only way to pass by the parents, so that they could run the life they wanted. But, whatever the reason, divorce could cause a bad effect to adolescent. Though some people considered divorce as the best way to do, than let the adolescent lived in nightmare married condition. Wife who was left by her husband because of divorcing, automatically would be widow. Here, the widows should have double role, beside the head of household who should be fulfilled all economic needs, the woman should be a good mother in educating their children. They should pay attention to the attitude and the behavior of their children. The research aimed to find out how the nurturance pattern applied by single parent (mother) to the adolescent, also to find out the social behavior of the adolescence because of divorce in Klojen sub-district Malang City. The research kind was qualitative with case study approach. For data collection method, the research used observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis was taken from Milles and Huberman opinion, they were data collection, data reduction, data serve, and conclusion taken. The research resulted that in a family with divorce case, not always have a bad effect to adolescent. The fact could be seen from several divorce case in Klojen sub-district Malang city, where in the family, there was an adolescent child. Though there was shocked, in daily life, they were always did a positive behavior, whether inside or around the neighborhood environment. It caused by innate factor from the adolescent, and also from the nurturance pattern applied by parent (mother) in educating their child, applying democratic education, not pursuing, by gave understanding to the child’s needs and ability, more tolerant with the child’s perception. Here, the child become more mature in think and take action. Beside, these mothers also control their teenagers’ activities. If there were something wrong (shouldn’t be done), they could returned the children into positive direction. The most important, they did special approach, so that children felt that they were loved and needed.
