Tsaabitah, Minnah. 2020. Ananalysis of the Implementation of Questioning Ability in Thematic Learning in Class III in Elementary Schools. Thesis of Primary School Teacher Education Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Supervisor (1) Dyah Worowirastri Ekowati, S.Pd., M.Pd (2) Arina Restian, S.Pd., M.Pd Keywords: Questioning ability, thematic learning In teaching and learning process, there are many question that student asked to teacher. Therefore, the teacher has to facilitate in asking ability. In asking ability teacher has to get mastering to make active learning. In teaching and learning process, the teacher must be able to make good questions because it determines the quality of students. In teaching and learning process, good ability in asking question has a very important role. A good questios in structure and technic will have a positive impact on student learning activities such as increasing student participation in the teaching and learning process. If student is active, teacher can diagnose students’ difficulties in learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of questioning ability in thematic learning at SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Malang. The implementation of questioning ability in thematic learning class III at SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Malang, Students are more active participating in learning and answering teacher questions during learning in the classroom. The ability in asking questions by the teacher is intended gives feedback between teachers and students. The aim of the teacher to give questions is to arouse students' interest and curiosity about the subject matter and students will be able to have the opportunity to actively participate and think. The result of this research shows thatthe analysis of the implementation of questioning ability in thematic learning in class III at SD Negeri Lowokwaru 2 Malang is good category. The result in elementary asking shows that teacher in implementing askingability is good category. In advance askingability teacher implement is good category. The components that the teacher needs to train and deepen are tracer questions and questions order. Researcherknows the teacher's ability to implement these components is not well implemented.
