Abstract

The development of mangrove forest ecotourism in the coastal area of Pasuruan City requires cross-sectoral cooperation. This is based on the authority of the mangrove forest in the East Java Provincial Government, which is vulnerable to land conversion and the existence of mangrove forests in Pasuruan City which is in residential areas. So this research aims to see how cross-sector collaboration that exists in mangrove forest ecotourism in the coastal area of Pasuruan City. This type of research uses descriptive methods using qualitative data analysis. The development of amngrove forest ecotourism in the coastal area of Pasuruan City involves various sectors including the East Java Provincial Forestry Service Branch, East Java Province Fisheries and Marine Service, Pasuruan City Fisheries Service, Pasuruan City Bapelitbangda, Kelurahan / Subdistrict, Local Communities, Influencers, Academics, BPDAS Sampean Bondowoso, and the Joint Operation Team. The local community is the initiator and drafter of the development of amngrove forest ecotourism, while Government agencies see from the environmental and sustainability aspects of the mangrove forest as well as the sector for the maintenance and nursery costs of mangrove forests, and other sectors such as influencers and academics as promotional media so that mangrove forest ecotourism attracts visitors.
