Abstract

ABSTRACT Difference in the Collaboration Ability of Health and Medicine Students in Interprofessional Education (IPE) Study at Muhammadiyah Malang University Introduction: Collaboration concept has been around as one of the attempts to solve health problem. The difference in the collaboration especially in communication on each major is surely different in the discussion group that are in the Interprofessional Education (IPE) learning process. Good communication is in conveying and receiving opinions between students who can help in solving given cases. Aim of the research is to analyze the difference in the Collaboration Ability of Health and Medicine Students in Interprofessional Education (IPE) Study at Muhammadiyah Malang University. Method of Research: Using research design cross sectional and sampling technique with Proportional stratified random sampling). The number of respondents is 183 people, the instrument used is a questionnaire SACS collaboration ability. There are three aspect to be assessed to be used questionnaire SACS that is; contribution, interaction with others and team learning using a linkert scale of 1 to 4. Result: Seeing from this research is that collaboration ability of the students with good criteria on the Nursing major 16 (8,7%), Pharmacy 20 (10,9%) and Doctor 28 (15,3%) while with very good criteria on the Nursing major 30 (16,4%), Pharmacy 55 (30,1%) and Doctor 34 (18,6%). Result analysis of the research will use Kurskal Wallis test with P-value 0,079 (pv ≤ 0,050) so there is no difference in collaboration ability on IPE major of the health students and medicine students at Muhammadiyah Malang University. Conclusion: Collaboration abilities of the health students and medicine students on IPE major are mostly in the very good category and has no significant differences. .
