Good performance is one of important factor which should be owed by employee in order to help reaching organization objectives for organization development. To make a good performance, there must be needed good human resources so that there needed a career development in increasing the individual quality of employee. Career development is also important in order to increase employee performance. If employee performance has reached optimal level and there is an increasing, it would rise efficiency and working performance level which would also increase the employee performance and the organization performance. This research aimed to find out relation between career development to employee performance. Independent variable was career development, and the next variable was employee performance. This research was quantitative. The subjects were 50 employees of PT. Telkom Kandatel Malang who had been working for 3 years. The subjects were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection technique was career development scale with Likert scale model and employee performance documentation data. Analysis data used was product moment correlation. From the research could be concluded that there were positive and significant relation between career development with employee performance, with correlation coefficient (r) = 0,875 and correction chance (p) = 0,000. It means, hihger the career development, higher the employee performance. The effective contribution of career development to the employee performance was 76,6%. Rest of them 23,4%, including another un-researched factors.
