Abstract
Film is one of a literature product also a communicative media which has a big influence towards the audience who watch it. There are so much ways for a film maker to deliver the message or moral value through the film. In some cases, there are several sign or hidden message that appears in a film and most the audience did not realize it. In education culture, sign often known as a Semiotic or a study about the sign. This research was aimed to explore the kinds of sign which appears in Inside Out film and then analyze it using a Charles Sanders Peirce semiotic model. This research was used a Qualitative method and note taking to collect the data. The researcher also functions as a key of instrument. In Findings, it was revealed that three kind of sign were found in Inside Out film. Those signs were Icon, Index and Symbol. An Icon has a physical resemblance to the signified, the thing being represented. A photograph is a good example as it certainly resembles whatever it depicts. Index is type of sign which resembles to the object, it shows evidence of what's being represented, such as water is a rain index. Symbol is kind of sign that resembles to the object that is shown with law basis, such as traffic light. In Concluding, this research is proven to define the meanings of the three sign which appear in Inside Out film.
