Abstract

To charge the smartphone it needs a charger as a charging medium, the smartphone charger will only stop charging when removed from the power source, this causes the battery to overheat and can cause the battery to explode because the battery is quite sensitive to heat and can only reach a maximum limit of 45o, smart charger is a charger that can automatically cut off electricity when the battery level reaches 100%, in addition to the smart charger detects the temperature of the battery on a smartphone using an application sent via Bluetoth HC-05 then the data will be processed and produce output whether charging can be done or not , if charging can be done the microcontroller will give orders to Riley to open the electric current and charge the smart phone, conversely if the battery conditions do not meet the requirements then the microcontroller will give orders to Riley to close the electric current so that charging is not isa done, there is an emergency button on the smart charger to turn off the circuit so it becomes an ordinary charger, this is intended so that the charger can still be used when the smartphone is dead and cannot send data to the smart charger.
