Abstract

Bena Traditional Village is one of the villages traditional Ngada are still intact and preserved with either until the time is, located in the village of Tiworiwu, District of Jerebu'u, District Ngada, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The Bena Traditional Village is a magnificent trace of the Megalithic era. The era in which large stones arranged with local wisdom resulted in buildings that lasted for thousands of years and are still very much preserved and preserved. The research entitled "Development of Bena Traditional Village Tourism Destinations in Bajawa, Ngada Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara", has a problem formulation of how the development process is carried out and what are the obstacles that occur in the development process. The purpose of this study is to determine the development process of Bena Traditional Village tourism and also to determine the obstacles that exist in the development process. Research is using the approach of qualitative by using the method of the study of literature. The data sources used are primary and secondary data from books, news, websites, and tourism development data for Ngada Regency which is presented by the Ngada Regency Tourism and Culture Office. The theory that is used to analyze the research this is the theory of the development of tourism by Paturusi. Based on the data analysis carried out, the conclusion that can be drawn is that the Bena Traditional Village has now become one of the cultural tourism objects that many people have started to know and are starting to welcome modernization in their daily lives. Therefore, there needs to be a role from all parties, the local government, local communities or tourism managers must jointly maintain, develop the existing potential and preserve what has been inherited by the ancestors. This development must require cooperation between all parties to always maintain the original culture in the Bena Traditional Village and introduce it to the public.
