Abstract

Keywords: job stress, job performance This research is a surve with the heading "EFFECT OF WORK STRESS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES WORKING AT. BNI Life Insurance MALANG ". The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of job stress seen from the physical symptoms, behavioral symptoms, and stress in the workplace on employees of PT. BNI Life Insurance, to know the work performance of employees of PT. BNI Life Insurance, to determine if job stress visible physical symptoms, behavioral symptoms, and stress in the workplace have a significant effect on employee performance PT. BNI Life Insurance. The analysis tools are a range of scales and multiple linear regression. While hypothesis test using the F test and t test From the research shows that job stress with physical symptoms of employees of PT. BNI Life Insurance are included in the low category. This is evidenced from the average score of the variable stress with physical symptoms (X) by 66, to stress with behavioral symptoms included in the high category. This is evidenced from an average score of 80.25 stress variables dengangelaja behavior and stress in the workplace including in the low category, with an average score of 67.75 while the work performance of employees at PT. BNI Life Insurance Malang in the low category of the variable scores of 72.5. The result of multiple linear regression with work stress (X), as the independent variable and performance as the dependent variable is obtained: Y = 2.914 + 0.373 X1 + 0.478 X2 + 0.353 X3 + e. With the value of R2 of 0.611. From the analysis results obtained Fcount F test of 13.634> Ftable of 2.92. This means that the stress of work simultaneously significant effect on employees' performance in PT Ceramics Company. BNI Life Insurance Malang. From the analysis with t test diperoileh variable t value of stress with physical symptoms> ttable at 66, the variable stress with behavioral symptoms> ttable at 80.25, workplace stress variables> ttable of 72.5. This means that work stress is partially significant effect on employees' performance in PT Ceramics Company. BNI Life Insurance Malang. Behavioral symptoms of stress with the dominant influence on job performance is evidenced by the largest t value than the value of other variables. From this research are expected to pay more attention untu companies that support and work stress is expected to make a more precise approach to managing stress with behavioral symptoms.
