Essentially teaching learning process involves pedagogic, psychological, and didactic aspects. Pedagogic aspect refers to the teaching learning process that takes place in education atmosphere where teachers have to consort students in their development to reach adulthood, through teaching learning process in class. Psychological aspect refers to the fact that each student has different physical and psychological condition. Furthermore, psychological aspect refers to fact that learning process itself is so varied, for example: there are items containing memorizing aspect, there are items which need motor skill, there are learning concepts, there are behavioral and so on. The existence of this variation also causes the way of students' study different each other, depends on studying type underway. Didactic aspect refers to the arrangement of studying process by instructor. Teachers have to determine most effective method for teaching learning with instructional goal that must be reached. It is shown how important the teacher’s role in teaching learning process. The student’s achievement is influenced by a lot of factors; teacher factor is very important (Ace Suryadi, Hartilaar, 1993, p.11). In this case, teacher has essential role in determining the effective way of learning for the student, either in school or also outside school clock. That is why the researcher wants to convey the correlation between students’ learning habits and their English achievement in order to give a brief description for the reader especially who interested in education field. This research used descriptive correlation research design. There are two variable used in this research: students’ learning habits and their English achievement. The population of this research is the whole students who had been given English as their subject. The researcher takes class 5 as the sample which consists of 37 students. The data was gathered with questionnaire, documentation and interview. And then it is analyzed by using Pearson product moment correlation formula to find out the correlation coefficient. As the results, the researcher found that student learning habits has significant correlation with their English achievement. It is shown from the correlation coefficient at 4.2 with the level of significant at 5% (0.325). The 5th year students at SDN Pandanwangi V have moderate English achievement. It is shown by dominantly 45.94 percent reached the score between 55 and 69 with the mean score of whole class at 64.03. The 5th year students at SDN Pandanwangi V have good learning habits. It is shown by dominantly 62.16 percent reached the score of learning habits between 70 and 84 with the mean score of whole class at 74.62.
