building students' awareness in doing Islamic Obligation is not an easy thing. Religious implementation should be given since in family environment. Only count on Islamic Study education in class is not the only effort in building student's awareness in doing Islamic obligation, it caused by the limited time. That's why religious extracurricular should be given to support student's religious dimension. Extracurricular activities contained material included aqidah (attitude), ibadah (religious activity), and akhlak (moral) were hoped to have positive influence to student's daily life, whether in school, family, and society. SMPN 2 Pamekasan Junior High School is one of school applied Islamic religious extracurricular which should be followed by all students so that the students would have more comprehension about Islamic religious and applied it in daily lives. The statement of problem in this thesis were to study some materials, they were: first, is the student's awareness in SMPN 2 Junior High School Pamekasan in doing their Islamic Obligation could be formed through extracurricular activities? Second, what are the form of student's awareness in SMPN 2 Junior High School Pamekasan in doing Islamic obligation? The research using qualitative approach. The data collected by observation, documentation, interview, and strengthen by student's polling. Informers in the research were headmaster, religious extracurricular activities advisor, Islamic Study Teacher, Administration staff, counseling teacher, and students in SMPN 2 Junior High School Pamekasan. From the research found that student's awareness in doing Islamic obligation could be formed through extracurricular activities. From the research found that student's awareness in SMPN 2 Junior High School Pamekasan in doing Islamic obligation could be formed through efforts done in extracurricular activities. It could be seen from the student's behavior in doing their obligation and interaction with all students in school. More than 50% of students run their obligation in school based on their awareness and not because of absence list or points. It was positive effects of religious extracurricular activities in SMPN 2 Junior High School Pamekasan.
