Given the "communication" so play an important role in influencing advanced whether or not a company, companies should be more serious in addressing the how to manage a form of good communication to employees. Thus core the purpose of communication is the delivery of "information" can be done well. Communication activities in a company, is meant also to meet interests of two parties namely the organization and the reader / employee. The existence of media use Internal communications company called PORTAL in particular Telkom Telkom Division Regional V East Java. Create a researcher interested in knowing how the activity Telkom Regional Division public relations through the media in supporting the deployment PORTAL information. Moreover, the company Telkom as a company providing telecommunications services, course will always follow the development of information technology is happening. This can unknown, as PORTAL own as a medium of internal communication using the network intranet. This also strengthens the urge to research on how Public Relations activities in Telkom Regional Division V through PORTAL. So the formulation of the problem of this research is how the activities of Telkom's Public Relations Regional Division V through PORTAL media in supporting the dissemination of information. Goal study is to describe how the activities of Telkom Public Relations Division Regional PORTAL V through the media in supporting the spread of information. The study was designed with a qualitative descriptive approach. As for basic research done is through a job analysis approach and activities. With purposive technique sampling, researchers find 5 people who become a source of information. Which 5 sources This information is divided into two groups, namely the Public Relations unit and system unit Information (USI). But more to the primary data yag data obtained from sources of information derived from the Public Relations unit. Data were collected through interviewing techniques, documentation and observation. With this technique, expected to be obtained significant data related to the problem under study. The results menunjukankan that the activities of Public Relations Telkom Regional Division V PORTAL media in supporting the dissemination of information held by apply some methods namely, research, planning, actuating & organizing, control, and Evaluating. Actual implementation, research conducted by the Public Relations more as forms of control carried out by PR every 6 months. So from the results of earlier research, Public Relations to evaluate performance during the 6 months that has been done. Related with planning, Public Relations not make special plans for the presentation PORTAL itself is information in real time. Research can be potakan planning Public Relations for 6 months. Public Relations activities significantly is the deliver information in writing or news. But in media management PORTAL itself, there is no organization like the composition kepengurusasan stewardship in a printed or electronic media generally, where there are leader editor, managing editor and others. And to evaluate the activities that have performed, Public Relations held a monthly evaluation and every 6 months through surveys in the form of distributing questionnaires to employees. Based on the analysis of researchers, recommended that no additional applications PORTAL which is more focused on the interests of employees, but also must be synergy with the vision and mission companies of course.
