Abstract

The sewage treatment plant is designed to collect and process sewage sludge from residents. This facility is an effort to improve the quality of sewage sludge treatment so that it can be useful for the community and does not pollute the environment. West Nusa Tenggara Province has 5 (five) sludge treatment plants, one of which will be built in West Sumbawa Regency. The location of the development planning for this sewage sludge treatment plant is located in Taliwang District, which has the largest population. In planning, required projection of population data to determine the alternative planning chosen. In addition, the number of stool trucks and their productivity is needed to calculate the volume of sludge discharge to be treated. This plan is controlled using bolster stability, shear stability and carrying capacity along with the budget plan. Cost is also calculated in order to find out how much it costs. The results of the planning obtained fecal mud discharge 15.2 m3 / day. Dimensions of 12 x 4 x 3 m SSC pool, 12 x 4 x 3.5 m anaerobic pool, facultative pool 13.5 x 4.5 x 2.3 m, 9 x 3 x 1.7 m maturation pool, and pond sludge dryer 10.5 x 3.5 x 1 m. Bolster stability 2.34, slide 2.96. The carrying capacity is 0.23 which is less than or equal to B / 6. The RAB of IDR 463,219,600. It was concluded that the planning of the Pond Sludge Treatment Plant (IPLT BATU PUTIH) is safe.
