Ability write to represent efficiency and readyness to bear mind and or feeling in the form of writing. As form of communication by using media write, writing to claim ability which is compleks, covering a number of knowledge and is skilled. To write a good story or composition, entangling some skilled aspect which must master by writer. Technically, writer claimed to fulfill conditions, namely domination to items to be written, so-called message content, have to have topic, limit, developing idea, presenting of it in effective sentence and structured paragraph logically and also correct kosakata etcetera. Skilled instruction write in school also stand in need of special attention if/when compared to other skilled, like reading, listening, and conversing. Skilled to equally write in lionizing to student. Because ability write also represent an expressive skilled owned by student. Special target this research for the description of : a. Ability use EYD in writing student class of VII SMP Muhammadiyah I Malang b. Ability use diksi on write student class of VII SMP Muhammadiyah I Malang c. Ability use effective sentence in writing student class of VII SMP Muhammadiyah I Malang. As for research type is to use descriptively. This approach is used by because researcher wish to check about, ability write student. its Technique data collecting with technique of tes this research data analysis and is done with technique of diskriptif quantitative. Result of this research analysis earn the following dipaparkan: first, result of ability data analysis use EYD at student class of VII SMP Muhammadiyah I Malang still categorized unfavourable that is, obtained presentase equal to 55% from good qualified 20%. If attributed to efficacy criterion which have been specified namely 75%. The ability relevant at mistake in using spelling, in this case mistake at writing of word, usage of punctuation mark, and usage of letter. Both, ability use diction still categorized is unfavourable. That is equal to 54%, seen from qualified very good equal to 20%, and good qualified equal to 34%, from specified criterion 75 is%. Third, ability write student in using effective sentence can be told to succeed better that is, obtained presentase very good 70%, and good kualifikasi 35%, from specified criterion 35%. Pursuant to research, hence expected to teacher in expection of executing study write, specially ability in using EYD, diction, and effective sentence so that can be improved and its time more multiplied again to reach maximal result.
