Abstract

Multiplayer game play is a voluntary act or activity carried out within the limit, place and time, based on binding rules but acknowledged voluntarily with the aim of which is within him, accompanied by a feeling tense, happy. Multiplayer game uses a computer game, technically a multiplayer game can get through two interconnected computers or computers connected to each other, using the Monitor, Keyboard, CPU, joystick as the main media (the simplest), or via a computer network connection, better known with Local Area Network, which means that one host computer to connect with several other computers, called terminals, both of which are local in nature and confined to one location. This study included deskripsif quantitative research, conducted with a sample dirental game Meteora 50 students who play multiplayer games with how Accidental Sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study using a questionnaire or a questionnaire. Data were collected on (1 to 26) March 2006. incoming data were analyzed with the method of frequency analysis of a single distribution. From the research that has been done by the researcher can conclude as follows: In general, students who play multiplayer games only just looking for entertainment to forget the fact that is not encouraging from the search engine game that contains elements. Another thing that is known to play multiplayer games researcher is more of a voluntary act or activity carried out within the limit, place and time, based on binding rules but acknowledged a voluntary basis with the aim of which is within him, accompanied by a feeling of tense, unhappy with the understanding that play is something "other" than ordinary life.
