Abstract

Make adjustments with a good environment in society and in the work environment of each individual must be able to work with others effectively and shows the attitude and behavior that is enjoyable, but not everyone can make adjustments with ease and how to overcome obstacles or difficulties - difficulties happened. So also with the subjects who worked in jobs dominated by men - men. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach. Qualitative methods which generate descriptive data that researchers will describe the adjustment of women working in jobs dominated by men - men. In this study conducted in the city of Malang with 2 people working at the gas station operator, 2 people working on security guards and a person who works on public transportation drivers, this study used observation and interview techniques. Based on data analysis, the obtained data, that all subjects are able to adjust themselves well in the work environment, community, family and coworkers, but the subjects who worked at the gas station operators and security guards have constraints or difficulties in doing their jobs because of lack of skills possessed, but the subjects could handle it by asking for assistance on co-workers or the opposite sex at work, except in subjects who worked as a driver of public transportation does not have any difficulty in doing their work because they can all resolve themselves without having to ask someone for help or co-workers.
