Keywords: Efficiency, Digital Technology, Audio Visual Production The importance of a message or information that can be received well and actually either directly or indirectly by a communicant of the communicator very tregantung of media used. Therefore needed a new breakthrough to a modern technology where such technology can create a media messenger can function more effectively and efficiently Following the development of a global information technology will require an information technology that can provide the ease and speed in delivering messages that exist. And in the process required a media which views the process of efficiency advantages over previously existing technologies. So the problem above is very important to study about how the process of using digital technology in audio-visual production to become media-efisienan information and to digital technology in the delivery of information or messages from the communicator to the communicant. This study aims to determine the use of digital technology in audio visual production and know the efficiency of production audio-visual use of digital technologies in delivering information to audiences through television media. In order to know how the process of using digital technology in audiovisual production and efficiency of digital technology in the delivery of information in television media, used for comparative analysis to test the use of digital technology and analog technology as a comparison to prove the facts and the efisieanan technologies. Type a descriptive qualitative research that describes the whole of an object, condition or phenomenon by using a qualitative approach, which allows us to see a phenomenon or the circumstances of a holistic or whole., To techniques of data collection is done by experimenting with the use of technology digital and analog audio-visual production, documentation, data analysis is a process that details a formal effort to find a theme and formulate ideas as suggested by the data, engineering data validity in this case menggukana triangulation techniques and referential adequacy. Triangulation technique by Moleong (2001: 1978) is a technique that utilizes data checking something else out of the data for checking purposes or as a comparison to the data. According to Guba and Lincoln (1981: 313) concept of referential adequacy as a means to accommodate and adjust with a written critique for the purpose of evaluation in the process of data analysis and interpretation of data. The results show that audio-visual production process denggan use digital technology more economical and more efficient both times, the process is the use of equipment that is not too complicated. While the use of analog technology must have a high cost, in the process takes a long time. Here we can see that the results from the use of digital technology was able to make a sophistication of a modern tenologi which can be more effective and more efficient a media in conveying the message or the actual information from the communicator to the communicant.
