Abstract
In manufacturing companies, machinery is one of the elements that must be considered to support the smooth production. Then there needs to be an optimal maintenance of the engine so that the engine is always in good condition. At present the maintenance system used at PT X is a type of corrective maintenance treatment. But in reality the level of downtime in 2018 is still very high at 150 hours. This causes losses for the company in terms of not achieving the production target, unemployment costs for the purchase of components and the cost of consumables. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the risk borne by the company if the engine is damaged and the optimal component replacement intervals from critical components of the centrifugal pump engine in order to minimize company losses. This study uses the Risk Bades Maintenance method. The results of data processing obtained critical components selected from the centrifugal pump machine are Bearings, Mechanical Seals and Shafts. Centrifugal pumping machines have a risk of loss of Rp. 1,960,507,571 This risk exceeds the company's revenue criteria limits of Rp. 1,000,000,000 Therefore an optimal component replacement interval is required. Optimal component replacement intervals for bearing components are 47 days, and Mechanical Seal components are 49 days and Shaft components are 49 days
