Abstract

Road is one of the media used for transportation. Road holds an important role to facilitate the movement from one place to another. Therefore, pavement with good conditions will facilitate the traffic flow and increase the comfortness of the road users. The Sukodadi - Sumberwudi road section which located in Lamongan experienced the increasement of vehicles causing the pavement to be damaged. Therefore, a flexible pavement and rigid pavement planning is carried out using the Bina Marga Method to determine the pavement thickness needed to support the traffic demands. From the calculations with 2 kilometers long and 6,5 meters wide, a result is obtained for flexible pavement using 7,5 cm of Laston (MS744) as the surface layer, 20 cm of Batu Pecah (Kelas A) as the upper foundation and 2 cm of Sirtu (Kelas A) as the foundation layer. Whereas for rigid pavement using 18 cm of concrete plate as the surface layer and 10 cm of thin concrete mixture as the foundation layer. The cost obtained for each of the pavement is Rp5.235.460,94 for flexible pavement and Rp8.033.455.673 for rigid pavement
