Abstract

MH is health problem in the world, beside that this is chronic disease especially that of attacking periphery nerve, and skin, and it can attack other tissue. This disease manifestation is also varied, beginning from single lesi up to damage evolving into nerve, bone, eye, and other vital organ. A purpose of the research is to know description of MH patient profile in Public Health Center of Ketapang–Sampang. Data used in this research is data from medical record result of the patients with MH diagnosis and treat them in Local Government Clinic of Ketapang – Sampang, during period of January 1st –December 31st, 2006. After that, the data is analyzed by using descriptive statistic and served in the form of distribution frequency table and equipped with a graphic. The result obtained suggested that (1) MH disease highly attacks man, (2) most age­group is 25­44 years old, (3) most ways of finding is voluntary, (4) most initial disease history is during less than 6 months, (5) most skin deviations is in the form of macula, (6) many patients have no contact history, (7) there is no previous treatment history, (8) clinical description in the form of lesi anesthesia, (9) most physical defect degree is in 0 level, (10) most patient do treatment regularly, (11) in examination, most in­home contact is not found in new patient, (12) there is no MH reaction.
