Abstract

PT. Indo Jaya Makmur ruber is a company that manufactures rubber gutter products, the products produced there are various variants of sizes ranging in width from 45cm, 50cm, 55cm, 60cm, 70cm, 90cm, 110cm, and 120cm. PT. Ruber Indo Jaya Makmur has a market share around the East Java region. Market competition in rubber gutter product is tight enough to encourage companies to plan their marketing strategies. Strategic planning that has not been implemented, resulting in companies not being able to reach a broad market. For this reason, it is necessary to identify the company environment that can provide alternative marketing strategies in accordance with the company environment. By using a SWOT analysis, which aims to determine the company's position in the market. Meanwhile, the use of the BCG matrix to analyze a business opportunity and the extent to which products produced by companies are able to compete in the market. From the results obtained by the SWOT matrix, which obtains alternative strategies based on quadrant 1 - SO. And in the BCG matrix results in the STAR quadrant, which in both matrices generates strategies: 1. Start marketing online, by creating a company website, 2. Establishing cooperation with mintra businesses by offering products at affordable prices and good quality 3. Maintain price with product quality so that market share does not go down.
