Abstract

Research used was survey research, which similar as observation in collecting, recording, analyzing, and interpreting data also taking the right decision at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang, located at Jl Mayjen Panjaitan XIX No.2 Malang titled : “Influence of Communication to the Employee Performance at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang” The research aimed to : first, finding out communication happened at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang ; second, finding out the level of employee performance at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang ; third, finding out whether there were significant influence between communication to the employee performance at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang. For the company, the research destined to be consideration in solving problems related with communication in Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang. Analytical tools used in this research was by scale rate and simple linear regression. According to the scale rate, could be stated 192,3 result, which mean that the employee performance at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang was good. The result showed that along this time the elements in the company could do the information process well so that supported the activities in the company. The average scale result got 199 point, which mean that the employee performance of the Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang considered high. The result showed that in working, the employee could do it in optimal way in quality, quantity, and finishing time. F test result concluded that communication has significant result for employee performance at Soekardi Ceramics Company Malang Some advices could be given to the company were : there hoped for the leader in giving direction or duty to the employee should be accurate, so that it would change the attitude of the employee, to make them more responsible in stated their opinion. There hoped for the leader in giving information oral or written to the employee should be clear, so that the employee could have the duty done in optimum way. In doing communication, it would be better for the leader to do simple communication with easier language to make the employees understand their job and duty well.
