Abstract

Mathematics is one of the basic sciences that supports the development of science, besides that mathematics can be used to solve problems in daily life. Mathematics learning places more emphasis on efforts to improve calculation skills. Things that need to be considered in learning mathematics in elementary school are the age of elementary school students who generally range from 6-7 years to 12 or 13 years which can be said in the concrete operational phase. The ability that appears in this phase is the ability to think of logic rules that are still bound by concrete objects, whereas mathematics has abstract properties. This research uses the type of development research and uses the ADDIE model. This model has 5 stages namely, (1) analysis which aims to analyze whether or not the media is needed, (2) design, starts by designing a media product (3) development, by realizing media design into real form, (4) implementation, by testing try directly the product, (5) evaluation, which evaluates every stage that has been carried out. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed: (1) Si Pitung media got results with a percentage of 85% of media experts with very valid criteria, very feasible, used in accordance with revisions and suggestions. From the material experts get results with a percentage of 95% with very decent criteria, very valid, used in accordance with revisions and suggestions. (2) The results of the trial evaluation from learning experts get results with a percentage of 98% with very valid criteria, very feasible to use without revision. Student responses get 88.9% results. Si Pitung media development research on multiplication material for grade II students of SDN Resapombo 04 Blitar Regency was declared appropriate to use. The results of this study, it is suggested that Si Pitung's media be used well in learning and can inspire teachers to innovate using learning media. This media can also be used by other schools with the same student characteristics
