The will to meaning is the primary motivation in human beings. Desire is what motivates everyone to work, work and perform activities necessary in order for life to be valuable and significantly internalized. People who appreciate the show's life meaningful life full of passion and optimism in carrying out everyday life. For the purpose of life, both short and long term for individuals has become a part of him, so that individuals will be able to lead their lives with full awareness in achieving the goal of his life, thus individual activities became more focused and more individuals realize, and feel themselves progress -progress, although progress has not experienced significant progress and individuals tend to be more able to accept his business. Therefore, the researcher intends to reveal whether there is a relationship between the meaningfulness of life with self-acceptance elderly. This research is non Experiment, referring to the data obtained directly based on the features that have been owned by the subject or not to experiment or treatment, and subjects viewed more in-depth without the use of random. The population was Panti Subdistrict Pangesti Lawang, Malang Regency with a total sample of 53 elderly people where the sample collection techniques by using purposive sampling technique with a method of data collection using a scale. Techniques used in data analysis using correlation spearmean brown. The results of this study mentioned that there is a very significant positive relationship between meaningfulness variable elderly living with self-acceptance that is based on the acquisition value of r = 0.935 and probability (P = 0.000) means that if the significance of high-living elderly elderly even then high self-acceptance and vice versa begiru if low then the meaningfulness of life elderly elderly even low self-acceptance. The effective contribution of meaningfulness of life of self-acceptance of 87.5%.
