Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the technologies used by the learners at English Language Education Department in University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The author describes the technologies in learning pronunciation that the learners used and how the learners used the technologies to learn pronunciation. This research is conducted by using descriptive qualitative research. The author obtained data by using interview to the learners of English Language Education Department. The subjects of the study are ten learners of English at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Based on the result of the data analysis, the author found that the technologies used by the learners in learning pronunciation are YouTube, Google Translate, Music, Games and Movies. The technologies mentioned above are appropriate media to learn pronunciation for learners at English Language Education Department.
