Multiplication of zamioculcas plants can be conducted sexually and asexually. But, because of the difficulty of this plant flowering so it’s multiplication often conducted asexually using leaf material, stems, and separation of chicks. Based on field observations, type of seedling solving has higher success rate, compared with the use of leaves or stems. Breeding with leaf cuttings can be seen as the result takes more time than solving the root seedling. Therefore, it is necessary to control growing substance that serves to accelerate the formation of shoots, roots and tubers, that the provision of ZPT before planting both of by soaking or applied to accelerate the success of the multiplication of cuttings. In general, the size of the hormone needs to grow cuttings multiplication ranged from 2 to 4 ml per liter of water. While the results of research conducted by Kenneth (1989), growth hormone measures for cutting the leaves are 4 to 4.5 ml/l. This study aims to determine the influence of the concentration of growth regulatory substance and leaf position on the growth of zamio plant cuttings (Zamioculcas). Hypothesis: 1) Suspected there is interaction between the concentrations of growth regulatory cuttings in leaf position stek at petiole Zamioculcas plants. 2) Suspected there is the influence of growth regulatory substances used. 3) Suspected there is the influence of leaf cuttings position at petiole Zamioculcas plants. Implementation of this research will be conducted in Merjosari village Lowokwaru District Malang Town with altitude ± 550 mdpl. A study was conducted from September to December 2008. Tools used in this research are: hand sprayer, measuring cups, plastic millimeter and vessel for soaking. Besides, it’s also used writing instrument such as a block note, pen, ruler, tape measure, camera, water hoses and shelves. Materials needed in this research are: leaf of Zamioculcas cuttings as three types, ZPT, water, pots, pesticides, soil and compost. Research methods will be applied in the implementation of this research using a randomized block design arranged as factorial with 2 factors and 3 times repetition. Each factor consists of 2 levels, i.e. factor I: The concentration of growth regulatory substances (K), factor II: Position of leaf on the stem (D). Implementation of the experiment conducted by gradually include: Preparation of planting media, provision of planting materials, applications of growth regulatory substance, leaf cuttings planting, plant maintenance. Observation parameters include: number of roots, root length (cm), percentage of live cuttings (%), percentage of dead cuttings (%), tuber diameter (cm), weight of tubers, roots and leaf cuttings material (grams). Based on the results of the analysis indicate a range of interactions between the concentration of growth regulatory substance with leaf position on the stem to all table view of observation parameters. Separately, the treatment concentration of growth regulatory substance and leaf cuttings position on the stem showed a significant influence on all parameters observed.
