Literature is one of the most exciting parts in the extend of every language. From literature the readers can understand about human beings, the world and the life. For the readers, literary works give an enjoyment; they also give knowledge especially about foreign culture. Literature can be divided into three parts; they are poetry, drama, and prose fiction including short story and novel. Novel is interesting to be analyzed, because we usually find many aspects of life. Many readers consider novel is the most flexible types of literature. The analysis is focused on Poirot’s ways to reveal the murder, as the topic of this thesis. The purposes of this research are to describe Hercule Poirot’s ways in revealing the murder, Poirot found the evidences in revealing the murder and to know the end of revealing the murder. In analyzing this novel the researcher used descriptive method because the researcher analyzed this novel descriptively. The technique used in this study was library research. It means that the data were taken from the novel itself, and other relevant sources in the form of books, dictionaries, articles that have relations to this study and taken as the sources of data. The approach used is objective approach as this study concerned with its object, Agatha Christie’s work only. The object of this study is the whole events in the form of paragraphs and dialogues quotation in the Agatha Chritie’s novel “The Murder on The Links”. The result of the study shows that Poirot’s ways to reveal the murder are asking some witnesses, investigating Marthe Daubreuil’s statement and Poirot’s examination. Poirot found the evidences to reveal the murder, there were the original dagger, a pad, a little bottle of chloroform and hypodermic syringe containing a fatal dose of morphine and anxious eyes from Marthe Daubreuil. Finally, the murderer is Marthe Daubreuil but she dies because her head had struck the marble fender when she tried to kill Mrs. Renauld. Marthe wants to bold bid Mr.Renauld millions. The murderer at Villa Genevieve was revealed.
