Abstract

Pratiwi, Dewi. 2020. Development of Learning Model (ROLING SIMASI) of Central Kalimantan Ethnic for Class II of Elementary School in theme 5 "My Experience" Sub-theme 3 "Experiences in Playgrounds" . Thesis, Study Program for Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Education, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Development of traditional game based on role playing learning models (ROLING SIMASI) ethnic of Central Kalimantan is a model which packed with typical traditional games from ethnic of Central Kalimantan. The objective to be achieved in this research is to produce a learning model ROLING SIMASI (Role Playing Based on Traditional Games) of Central Kalimantan ethnic for class 2 of Elementary School Theme 5 "My Experience" Subtema 3 "My Experience in a Playground" and its equipment. This research used ADDIE research development model that is consist of 5 stages including analysis (analyze), design(design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation).Research on the development of this learning model held at Elementary School 1 of Kuala Pembuang 1 Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan. Data collection techniques were taken through observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher performed with qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of learning model validation (ROLING SIMASI) of Central Kalimantan Ethnic obtained percentage of 85%, media validation obtained percentage of 95% and material validation obtained percentage of 98% and can be categorized as good or valid to be use for learning activity. Syntax of learning model of ROLING SIMASI of Central Kalimantan Ethnic obtained by steps: (1) the teacher preparing play instruments ; (2) problem orientation by choosing the problem which has traditional games of Central Kalimantan ; (3) forming groups; (4) role selection; (5) arranging stages of play; (6) preparing the observers; (7) cast or role playing stages; (8) discussion stage; (9) evaluation stage. After finish the validation stage of the learning model (ROLING SIMASI) Central Kalimantan Ethnic and the devise enter the step of implementation, then see how interesting the learning model (ROLING SIMASI) of Central Kalimantan Ethnic by seeing to the responses of teachers and students. The results of the questionnaire from the teacher's response can be percentage of 100% while the student's questionnaire response is 98% that means the model is validated and good to use in learning activity.
