Abstract

Preparation has a role as a medium of learning, therefore making preparatory techniques must continue to be attempted wrong with coloring techniques. Synthetic dyes such as safranin have fast color properties, produce colors that are too thick, are not environmentally friendly, are not environmentally friendly, are not easy to store and are relatively expensive in price, thus enabling development by utilizing natural potential such as mulberry for coloring. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of administration of mulberry fruit filtrate (Morus alba L) as an alternative coloring to the quality of rubbing preparations in the bones of the rabbit femur (Orytologus cuniculus L). The type of research used was "True experiment". The research methods include the preparation stage, the stage of carrying out the manufacture of mulberry filtrate (Morus alba L) and the preparation of the rub using the rabbit femur bone (Orytologus cuniculus L). This study consisted of 24 samples with 4 treatments namely P1 (no staining), P2 (30%), P3 (60%), P4 (90%) and 6 replications. The quality of the preparations is assessed based on clarity and color contrast. The data analysis technique used is Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney. The results showed that there was an effect of the administration of mulberry fruit filtrate as an alternative coloring to the quality of the rabbit femur bone rub preparation (Orytologus cuniculus L). The most effective concentration used is P3 (60%) has an average total value of 4.0 and can provide good quality preparations.
