Abstract

Kuttab Al-Fatih is an institution in whichtheexistence does not under maintainby national education ministry. They do not applicate general curriculum model such in private school. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to define curriculum model in which included framework background, structure, and implementation of the curriculum in Institution of Kuttab Al-Fatih. In this paper, the method of the paper use qualitative descriptive approach in which the subject of the paperis the head master and the teachers in Institution ofKuttab Al- Fatih Malang. The data is collected from the subject by using observation, documentation and interview, and the analysis data is using data qualitative. The result of the paper is the framework background in the Institution of Kuttub Al-Fatih institution which included; 1) religion foundation: the application in Institution of Kuttab Al-Fatih Malang, the religion foundation based onAl-Qur’an and Hadist as first the reference in the curriculum. 2) Philosophy foundation: the philosophy also take place Al-Qur’an as the fundamental education foundation in which make the students have good in quality and high integrity. 3) Psychology foundation: in this context that classify the children are in 5 to 12 year aged, they have to study to responsible for what they have done. The curriculum structure in Institution of Kuttab Al-Fatih Malang is decided into 4 part. First, the aim of Institution of Kuttab Al-Fatih Malang is included giving foundation faith and Al-Qur’an such as memorizing the words of Al-Qur’an. Second, the material of the studyingis includedcourtesy, Al-Qur’an science, Tahidzul Quran, thematic learning, Hadist knowledge, reading-writing-counting, Murofaqod, skills, language culture, and exercises. Third, the studying process uses strategies, methods and medias. The last, the studying processwill be evaluated in the middle and the last semester. The studying process is take place for implementation and evaluate the curriculum. Therefore, the key of the successful implementation of curriculum is the teacher. However, in Institution of Khuttab Al-Fatih Malang, the teacher is not dominantly being the successful factor, parents also have a main role to success the curriculum. In Institution of Khuttab Al-Fatih Malang for increasingthe education quality, for the teacher and the parents, have kind of programs. For example,daily workshop and discussion for the teacher, discussion for parents to increase life quality.
