Abstract
The research was a case study to Indonesia stock exchange titled: “Unsystematic Risk Influence to Stock Return of PT. Bank Mandiri Syariah at three month period 2004-2008)” The research aimed to find the significant influence of unsystematic risk to the return of Syariah Bank. In this research, the writer concluded simultaneous hypothesis of unsystematic risk which had simultaneous influence to return at Syariah Bank. Variables used in this research were risk, capital, debt, and liquidity ratio as independent variable and stock return as dependent variable. Analytical tool used to find whether any influence of unsystematic risk to return was multiple regression analysis F test. Unsystematic risk calculation in simultaneous showed that there was no significant influence to the return. It was proven by F count value (0,476) which was not significant (0,706 > 0,05). From correlation coefficient, there found R2 0,138 with negative sign which means that all unsystematic value didn’t influence return. Determinant coefficient R2 0,138 (13,8%) showed that return influenced by unsystematic risk consisted of capital, debt and liquidity risks 13,8% and rest of them 86,2% influenced by variable which didn’t exist at the research. According to above discussion, the writer suggest Syariah Banking should show better performance and showed the Bank’s value. For the investors, there hoped that they plant the capital to Syariah Bank since it had better probability in the near future. Keyword: capital risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and return.
